About this book
When my children (Andrew and Aston) were 9 and 6 years old, my wife and I spent time telling them bedtime stories, our local news, and daily experiences.

Naturally, the story of the Hare and the Tortoise from Aesop’s Fables was a great story with good lessons. It shows our children that “slow and steady wins the race”. Subsequently, we have gathered and expanded the original story.

This book contains 7 stories, which is ideal for a week-long story telling with your young readers. We are delighted to make them all available online "Free to Read" to promote the sharing of these wonderful stories, with the hope of a kinder world and future.
